With over 18 years of experience and a designation as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), I proudly lead a top 1% real estate team in the Carson City, NV area. My team and I specialize in assisting seniors, providing premium white glove service to home sellers and buyers, and helping clients seamlessly relocate in and out of the area.

Let’s get personal

Background

Growing up, I always loved horses and dogs and learned the value of responsibility at a very young age. My first jobs included paper routes and restaurant work, where I eventually moved into management. Those early experiences taught me the importance of hard work, communication, and caring for people, values that still guide me today.

After getting married and raising my two sons, I made the choice to stay home with them, and looking back, it was the most important and rewarding work of my life. Today, they are wonderful men, and I’m incredibly proud of the people they’ve become.

Later, I cared for my grandmother in our home until she passed away, an experience that deeply shaped my heart for helping seniors and families during life’s transitions. When my sons entered high school, I felt called to serve in a new way and pursued a career in nursing. I proudly worked as a nurse in the Reno and Carson City area for 23 years, dedicating my career to caring for others with compassion and integrity.

Even after retiring from nursing at age 59, my passion for serving people never faded. Today, as a Senior Real Estate Specialist and trusted Carson City real estate professional, I wake up every day excited to do what I love most, helping others. I frequently work with seniors, but I proudly serve clients of all ages, guiding them through their real estate needs with care, patience, and expertise.

In addition to serving clients, I’ve recently discovered how fulfilling it is to help the agents on my team grow, succeed, and achieve their dreams. Supporting others,  whether clients or fellow professionals, remains at the heart of everything I do.

  • You are practically on the doorstep of world-class recreation in either city. Carson City is slightly closer to the south shore of Lake Tahoe (about a 25-minute drive via Hwy 50), while Reno offers quick access to the north shore and Truckee via I-80 or Mt. Rose Highway (roughly 35-45 minutes). Beyond the lake, both cities are surrounded by BLM land, offering immediate access to hiking, mountain biking, and off-roading trails without even needing to get on a highway.

  • Residents here enjoy four distinct seasons with over 300 days of sunshine annually. Unlike Southern Nevada, we do experience winter snow, but accumulation on the valley floors in Reno and Carson City is generally manageable and typically melts within a day or two. The region is defined by its lack of humidity and significant temperature swings, where even hot summer days often cool down rapidly once the sun sets.

  • While you can manage in the city limits with a standard front-wheel-drive vehicle, most locals highly recommend owning an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or 4WD vehicle. It provides critical traction during occasional valley snowstorms and is essential if you plan to commute over mountain passes or visit ski resorts. If you choose to drive a 2-wheel drive car, you must be comfortable installing tire chains, as they are often legally required on highways during winter weather events.
